BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: NATALIE MENA

Natalie Mena, LCSW-R, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University, School of Social Work. Natalie is a private practice owner in New York State and provides therapy and clinical supervision.

Natalie has over 10 years’ experience working with individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) along with families and children in both nonprofit and government agencies. She is passionate about helping people dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress in efforts to help them find balance in their lives. An emphasis on self-care is a common theme in the therapeutic practices that Natalie provides to her clients.

A native Brooklynite, Victorious De Costa has dedicated his life to providing social service locally, nationally, and abroad.

He is the Director and Producer of Digging for Weldon Irvine, a music documentary thatfocused on the joint paradigms of Artist Identity and Mental Wellness. Victorious also produced Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn, an HBO documentary film that was spotlighted at the 20th Annual Tribeca Film Festival.

De Costa has served as Coach, Commissioner and is now on the Board of Directors of Bed-Stuy Sluggers, a co-ed Youth Baseball organization affiliated with Major League Baseball's RBI program - designed to reintroduce Baseball in the Black & Urban community.

An advocate of therapy, Victorious was trained as a Hypnotist at the world-renowned NLP Center. A member of the National Guild Of Hypnotists, he helped scores of clients with various forms of anxiety, overeating, smoking cessation, and other personally undesired phenomena.2022 finds him the Director of Ring The Alarm, a documentary about the underreported disparity in suicide rates among Black & Brown children.

Victorious De Costa has dedicated his life to providing social service locally, nationally, and abroad. 2019 saw him direct and produce Digging for Weldon Irvine a documentary which featured Q-Tip, Lalah Hathaway, Bobbito Garcia, and focused on the joint paradigms of Artist Identity and Mental Wellness.

Victorious is a Producer of Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn, a film about a 16-year-old boy who was murdered in 1989 Brooklyn for the color of his skin. This film was screened at the 2oth Annual Tribeca Film Festival and proudly joined the ranks of HBO DOCUMENTARY FILMS seeing a release on HBO MAX in August of 2020.
