Anthropic is a research company focusing on building safe AI. Their LLMs compete with other big companies such as OpenAI and Google DeepMind. However, while some argue that joining the race towards AGI is not a good strategy, others believe that access to state-of-the-art-models is crucial for successful AI safety research.
