Washington DC Bicycling Advocates Social

Please join WABA for our first Washington DC bicycling advocates social of the year, with special guest Councilmember Charles Allen. 

We’ll meet at Lost Generation Brewing Company, 327 S St NE (just off the Metropolitan Branch Trail!) on Thursday, January 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Come by any time – this will be an informal social event (buy your own drinks) – but please register so that we know you're coming.

The primary aim of this social meetup is to get together with other cyclists and talk about the joy of cycling! We’ll also take a few minutes to talk about city issues. That will be around 6 or 6:15 pm; Councilmember Charles Allen, who chairs the Committee on Transportation and the Environment, has confirmed that he will join us. The Council’s departmental-performance oversight hearings are coming up, and we’re also particularly interested in hearing about development of the District’s autonomous-vehicle policy.
