Washington County Groundhog Day Celebration - A Family Friendly Event

The Groundhog Day Celebration on Friday, January 31, 2025, is a Department of Business and Economic Development annual event that showcases local farms, products, and value-added producers all in one place the Washington County Agricultural Education Center located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland. This indoor event at the multi-purpose building features tasting samples from every vendor and the opportunity for ticket holders to further purchase products, live music by the Cramer Brothers with Tim Haines, as well as a free kid’s area to enjoy. While many consumers associate farmers markets with spring, summer and fall months, this event highlights the fact that local products are available and thriving even during the winter months.

Tickets are $10.00 each, ages 12 and under are free.

SNOW DATE - Friday, February 14, 2025. Tickets are non-refundable unless both events dates are cancelled due to weather. Notice of weather cancellation will be made by 12 pm on day of event.
