Are you new to watercolors? Are you seeking more instruction or brushing up on your basics? Washes in Watercolor will break down the foundational technique, creating "washes" in watercolor painting and the tools you can use to create beautiful, colorful studies.
Our inspiration will come from "Sunsets" and the beautiful, colorful skies before dawn, focusing on color combinations, wet-on-wet blending, impactful color palette choices, and how we can capture a natural "Sky" with a wet-on-wet painting approach.
Our class will cover the following:
Mastering tone with water through washes and blending practice
Color Choice
Color Blending & Charging
Wet-on-Wet
Students will complete small finished "Sunset" inspired wash studies!
Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during class!
