Warmoes Biënnale Intimacy Salon

Als afsluiting van het twee maanden durende kunstspektakel in het levendige hart van Amsterdam, nodigt de Warmoes Biënnale Intimacy Salon lokale betrokkenen en cultureel geïnteresseerden uit voor een programma, speciaal ontworpen om intimiteit te herontdekken en opnieuw te integreren in ons gedeelde bestaan.

In het iconische erotisch theater Casa Rosso, het middelpunt van de Amsterdamse Wallen, brengt de Intimacy Salon een gevarieerde groep locals, denkers en kunstenaars samen, die op allerlei manieren het podium nemen om intimiteit in de breedste zin van het woord te verkennen.

Op klaarlichte dag, in een erotisch theater dat ‘s avonds gewijd is aan visuele prikkeling in uiteenlopende vormen, ontvouwt zich een nieuwsgierige en speelse verkenning:

Hoe kunnen we ons richten op het creëren van ruimte voor intimiteit, in ons dagelijks bestaan en in het werk wat we doen?

Hoe kunnen we fysieke ruimtes zo vormgeven dat ze verbinding mogelijk maken, zowel emotioneel, als fysiek en intellectueel of via ervaring?

Wat gebeurt er als plekken die normaal gesproken draaien om nachtelijk erotisch genot, overdag veranderen in ruimtes waar alle vormen van intimiteit wordt verkend?

Samengevat verkent de salon een prototype voor een ontmoetingsplek rond intimiteit en nodigt zij de Amsterdamse gemeenschap uit om samen te komen voor een dag vol inspiratie en menselijke verbinding.

• Voertaal is een mix van Nederlands en Engels, als weerspiegeling van de diversiteit van de stad.
• Een vegan lunch + drankje is inbegrepen bij de ticketprijs.
• De volledige line-up en het programma worden op 15 april bekendgemaakt.

As a conclusion to the two-month art spectacle in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam, the Warmoes Biennial Intimacy Salon invites local stakeholders and cultural enthusiasts to a program specifically designed to rediscover intimacy and reintegrate it into our shared existence.

In the iconic erotic theater Casa Rosso, the focal point of Amsterdam's Red Light District, the Intimacy Salon brings together a diverse group of locals, thinkers, and artists who take the stage in various ways to explore intimacy in the broadest sense of the word.

In broad daylight, in an erotic theater that is dedicated in the evening to visual stimulation in diverse forms, a curious and playful exploration unfolds:

How can we focus on creating space for intimacy, in our daily lives and in the work we do?

How can we design physical spaces to enable connection—whether emotional, physical, intellectual, or through experience?

What happens when places that normally revolve around nocturnal erotic pleasure transform during the day into spaces where all forms of intimacy are explored?

In summary, the salon explores a prototype for a meeting place centered on intimacy and invites the Amsterdam community to come together for a day full of inspiration and human connection.
