A free community morning where young children make cards and small warm gifts for neighbors, practicing kindness in a real and concrete way.
About this Event
Join us for Warm Hearts, Warm Hands at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center.
This free Community Saturday invites young children to do something kind for someone they may never meet. Children will decorate cards and assemble small warm gifts, such as a card tied to a pair of mittens or a warm note for a care bag, that Little Nestlings will deliver to a local partner.
Families who would like to contribute may bring a new, unused pair of children mittens, gloves, or warm socks. Contributions are appreciated but never required.
Children practice generosity in a way they can actually see and touch. This is kindness at toddler scale, and it is one of the most joyful mornings we host.
