Intro
Saturday 7th November
Warhammer 40K tournament held in Auchenblae village hall.
This is a singles event. 1vs1, 1000 points per player, (2000 per table) . There will be 3 games, 5 battle rounds per game. Winner by Victory points (VP). As always a fully painted army automatically get 10vp.
The event will be using the highlander format* and the latest rules from Warhammer 40k 11th edition. Table terrain layout will be custom.
Legends & crucible champions are allowed.
The aim of the day is to have a bit of a laugh & socialise! So bring your favourite models, shout your best WAAAAGHH, and come have a bit of fun!
Awards for:-
1st, 2nd, 3rd
Model showdown
One model from each player will be put on display throughout lunch and everyone will get 2 votes to decide who has the players favourite model!
Most fun opponent
Everyone will get a vote to decide who their favourite opponent was. So If you’re a sweaty META player then you better try tone it down for the day 🤣
Most challenge points achieved*

Each game there will be two challenges to add a twist to the game and a bit of chaos. Points will be added up and there will be prizes for the players with the most challenge points.
Game 1-
1-The optimistic leader
Warlord has to charge the toughest unit on their opponent’s army in battle round 2 or 3.
2- The deadliest demise
Your deadly demise, in turn caused the demise of an opponents unit or vehicle.
Game 2-
3-The master hunter
One of your vehicle/units have destroyed more than two full vehicle/units of your opponent’s army.
4- Objectively greedy
One unit securing more than two primary objectives in a game for at least one round.
Game 3-
5- Hit and miss
You were tabled before round 3 (not intentionally)
6- Snake-eyes
Failing to inflict a single wound in your entire turn with your warlord. (Must use all permitted attacks for a whole turn)
Food
There is lunch as part of the entrance fee and tuck shop items available for purchase and the complimentary tea/coffee station as always.
Lunch will be served at 1230
On the lunch menu is macaroni cheese, healthier macaroni(Vg), salad, fruit, nibbles & houmous.
Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
Please let us know if there are any non-players planning to attend with you so we can plan the numbers for lunch.
All the food served will be either veggie or vegan.

“There can be only one!!!”
Rules-
1- You can only have one of any type of model/unit, except battleline. E.g you can have 3 units of chaos jackals but not 3 Ballistus dreadnoughts!
2 - You cannot have a unit that makes up more than 300 points, so no Ctans, Primarks, stompas etc.
3 - We advise you to aim for an army that isn’t “no fun” to play against. This should keep the day well balanced.
4 - Legend units are allowed.
5 - Proxies can be used so long as they bear a resemblance to the unit they are supposed to be, basically don’t turn up with an Irn bru can on wheels and call it an ork battle wagon!
6 - Crucible champions encouraged. Rules for building are in the The Maelstrom: Crucible of Champions
Once your army list has been entered through registration on the day it & the weapon rollouts cannot be changed.
Please have all the relevant dataslates, apps or books you need to support your army.
Children
If your child is competitive and capable to
Play alone then by all means add them to the tournament.
People under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Entry prices:-
£15 for members
£20 entrance fee for non members
£5 for non players
Entrance includes lunch & tea/coffee/squash.
Tournament spaces will be prioritised to club members, there are 22 spaces.

Feel free to pay on either the gaming days preceding the tournament or by contacting me (Bruce Stevenson) we take PayPal, cash, card or bank transfer. Preference will be given to club members, then it will work on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
Payment will be taken before your place can be booked.
