New APOC for 2026! Modified 11th edition 40K rules.
Bring up to 10k points as a single Apocalypse Detachment. All models in the detachment MUST share a single faction keyword. Named characters limited to one per detachment. No other restrictions.
Deployment: ALL units in your Apocalypse Detachment must start on the same table. At the beginning of the game we will organize players into Like-Factions (Space marines with space marines, orks with orks, etc etc) as much as possible. The team with the most Like-Factions will get to choose which tables they want to deploy on first.
Objectives: each table will feature a single Objective Scoring Terrain Feature. That terrain feature and its defined area are the only scoring objectives for the game. These Objective Scoring Terrain Features can be destroyed.
The Objective Scoring Terrain Feature stats are: T14, W2000. The terrain does not take a saving throw. The Objective Scoring Terrain Feature cannot be attacked by close combat.
If the Objective Scoring Terrain Feature is destroyed, it will automatically DEADLY DEMISE D6+3 mortal wounds for all units within the defined area.
Certain Objective Scoring Terrain Features will feature bonuses.
Scoring: at the end of the game, the team with more objective control of INFANTRY keyword models within the Objective Scoring Terrain Feature wins the objective. Models without the INFANTRY keyword do not contribute their Objective Control. The team controlling the objective is awarded points equal to the remaining WOUNDS characteristic of that Objective Scoring Terrain Feature.
Endless Waves: beginning round 2, all units destroyed in the previous turn have the possibility to return to the battle. Roll a D6 for each unit destroyed on the previous turn, on a 4+ that unit is redeployed onto the table where it was destroyed, 6 inches from any table edge. If a unit is not returned to battle in the turn after it was destroyed, it can not enter the battle again.
The Endless Waves special rule is only active during rounds 1-3. After round 3 any units that are destroyed remain destroyed.
Titan rule: All TITANIC keyword units automatically return to play the next turn they are destroyed, but suffer a -1 to hit penalty on ALL attacks throughout that turn.
First turn: Any units destroyed during the first round of the game are not removed until the end of the round. Place a marker next to any unit that has been destroyed. That unit can still move/shoot/charge as normal, but is removed from battle at the end of the round. First round only. These units may still possibly return to battle with the Endless Waves rule.
