Summary
Match point totals start at 1,000 points and increase the point total every two weeks until we reach 2,000 points. This event is great for new players because you start at a low point total. That means fewer models to buy and fewer datasheets to memorize to get started. Your models do not have to be painted to play. You can join anytime.
You get points for playing unique players per tier, winning matches, and painting. The entry fee is $15 which is awarded as store credit to the top players, usually the top 4. If you don't make the top 4, then the points you earned during the league are converted to a chance to win a $40 model of your choice.
You may pick an army for Warhammer 40K, an army for Age of Sigmar, and an army for Horus Heresy. A match played using any of these game systems counts for league points.
You will also get 15% off MSRP for Games Workshop products for the duration of the league. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts.
