The combined total of all individual player’s GAME SCORES on a team will give them their TEAM SCORE. The TEAM SCORE will be calculated and compared by BCP and a TEAM DIFFERENTIAL will be determined. (At the end of each Tournament Round, it will be the Captains responsibility to review BOTH their team’s and their opponent's team's score entries and confirming results with the opposing Captain.) For further information please refer to the Player Packet. (Note, the Organizers will only adjust a score IF scored have been reversed in BCP. Once a score is submitted it is final, pending circumstances.)
Painting: There are no paint minimums, so bring what you like. For painting scoring, if your army is fully Battle-Ready painted you will receive 10-points towards your round score. If your army is not fully painted, you will receive 0 points towards your round score. (For Hobby Paint Scoring, all fully Battle-Ready armies will receive a minimum of points with showcase armies scoring more. Painting matrices can be found at https://theawaygames.com/paintmatrix.html.)
The use of a chess clock is mandatory for all games of the top 4 in the Events final two rounds. Failure to use a clock in the final two rounds MAY result in penalties. As well, if any Player at any time during the Event wishes to use a chess clock, their opponent cannot refuse and the game becomes a timed game. Time will always be split in half, regardless of the state of the game when a clock is requested following the start of a round.

___ Army List Information
A Codex may have several factions in it. Where this is the case, as soon as one of those factions are taken for the team, no other factions from that specific book may be used by another player on the team. Note that for the purpose of factions at the Event, a single book, like Codex: Space Marines, or Codex: Aeldari, will always use up a team selection as soon as one of the armies/factions that are listed within it, or stems from any index which is released for it. (This means for instance that when a team would add Harlequin models to a Drukhari force, that army would use up both the Aeldari and Drukhari faction slots for the team.)
However, if a Codex has specific units that are annotated in the Codex, they can be utilized without losing access to the units in other Codices. (i.e., Ynnari Incubi) This includes such things as Daemons datasheets; these too can be taken without losing access to their datasheets for use in other instances. Though, any Named Character may only be used once per team.
All Codex and Index Space Marines fall under Space Marines/Adeptus Astartes. Teams cannot have multiple Space Marine armies. No new Codex will be used until after its official release to the public, not just a limited/starter set release.
No new Codex or Detachment will be used until after its official release to the public. (Such as limited/starter set release or PDF prior to official release.)
Units of Legend and Fortifications will NOT be used.
Below is a list of the armies that are available as factions for the Event.
