We are back and with a 2 day event for Warhammer 40,000! The first day will be 3 rounds, at the end of which will we will be handing out prizes for:
Best Painted
Best Display Board
Door Prize
At the end of day one, we will do a top 8 cut for day 2 and run 3 additional rounds of elimination. At the end of day 2 we will award prizes for:
Best General
2nd Place
3rd Place
Entry: $50
Round Time: 2 hours and 45 minutes
There will be 22 spots available for this event.
This event will use player placed terrain. There will be ruins preset in the centre of the board at the beginning of every mission. Here is a video tutorial discussing terrain placement

FAQ’s AND RULES MANUELS
At this level of event, we are allowing all new books, regardless of whether they have received a FAQ. Please understand that rulings can be made by the tournament organizer for interactions that have not been FAQ’d and are in need of clarity in the proceeding days leading up to the event, including the day of the event. If there is a grey area, please get into contact with us at [email protected] to get a ruling so that you are not surprised the day of. All rulings will be posted under the event on FaceBook. Players are responsible for bringing any rules manuals for reference to the event and will be awarded 1 point in the first round for doing so. Codexes and supplements, Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook, both physical or official digital copies are valid. Battlescribe will not be used for any rulings. The Warhammer 40,000 application from GW will count as an official rules manual but please confirm that it covers all the rules that you will be using on the day, as some features are locked.
PRE-TOURNAMENT PREPAREDNESS
Please have your lists submitted by September 10th on BCP one week prior to the event! We are not providing the missions as we expect all players to have their own Chapter Approved and rulebooks.
PROXIES AND CONVERSIONS
All proxies must be approved. Whole 3d printed armies will not be allowed. As a guide, please make sure it is on the appropriate sized base and the model can be clearly identified as the model it is suppose to represent.
LIST SUBMISSION
Lists must be submitted one week in advance Best Coast Pairings.
JUDGE RULINGS
All calls by the judge (TO) will be final. Please note when asking a judge for a ruling, please ensure all books and FAQ’s are ready. As well during a ruling, please be respectful of the judge and other players. Any outburst or rude behaviour while the judge is making a ruling or question may result in a possible point reduction or being asked to leave for the rest of that game.
TIME KEEPING
Once time for the round has ended, a very strict dice-down call will be enforced. Victory/Battle points will be determined at that time based upon final model placement and not on any theoretical future moves. It is important and respectful to the players, organizers, and the store that the tournament ends on time. If you feel you are being slow played or your game is going really slow and you might not make it to round 3 by the end of 2 hours please call for a TO sooner rather than later. We will try to inform people of the time every half hour or so. If you are about to start another round and you don’t think you can make it through both you and your opponent's turn please keep track of the points at that round so if you don’t make it through the next round your final score will be calculated from the last round you were able to finish. If you and your opponent can't agree on whether you can make it through another round please call the TO over to help with the call. If 15 minutes or less is remaining by the end of a battle round it is recommended that players call the game there as there will not be adequate time left for another battle round.
