About this Event
Join DC Bird Alliance for a bird walk at Kingman Island, one of DC’s most unique and wild-feeling green spaces.
Tucked along the Anacostia River, Kingman Island offers a mix of wooded trails, wetlands, and open areas that attract a wide variety of birds, especially during spring migration. This is a great place to slow down, listen, and observe birds moving through the landscape.
We’ll move at a very relaxed, beginner-friendly pace, pausing often to take in what we’re seeing and hearing.
