You are invited to our next Women Advancing Minerals Research event coming up on Thursday 9th May 2024.Open to anyone, this event we are joining forces with GHD who are hosting an expert panel session followed by networking drinks on their fabulous rooftop in the city. The panel will discuss the role of sustainability in mining projects and the benefits of embedding sustainability into the planning process instead of being tacked on as an afterthought.
The idea that sustainability and circular economy should be deeply ingrained into the inception, planning and operation of mining projects is a growing priority for resource companies in Western Australia and elsewhere.
Our panel will discuss the possibilities, challenges and benefits of the growing trend to embed sustainability into projects and the need for innovation and research to drive cost effective and impactful outcomes.
