Discover breathtaking new works by Narungga & Warlpiri artist, Karlanya ”Nangala” OLoughlin, in her upcoming exhibition “Walya” meaning ground, earth or land in Warlpiri Language. Born in Adelaide and growing up with a deep connection to culture and land, Karlanya draws inspiration from the imperfections of nature’s landscapes. Karlanya’s art practice finds balance in bringing together both sides of her Indigenous heritage; her mother’s side representing coastal people, and her father's side representing desert people.
