An evening of waltzing to music DJ'd by Bandana Sam, and space to dance with friends and strangers. This event starts with a lesson, tailored to who shows up.
At the Portland New Church (302 Stevens Ave, Portland).
6:00pm Doors open (help me sweep/chairs/lights)
6:15pm Lesson (by Alex)
6:45pm Break
7:00pm Social dance
9:00pm Go home
Pay “whatever” cash/venmo at the door. Bring dancy shoes and a water bottle. This is social dance and switching partners is encouraged, no need to come with a partner. This is a substance-free event. For best results, please practice a culture of courtesy and consent in this space.
