One truly special night at the Hub when D.C. prodigal son Walter Egan returns with a fun night of songs and stories spanning the halcyon days of Georgetown and his band Sageworth in the early 70s, all the way to the top of the charts with his big hit “Magnet and Steel.” Fans of Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Jackson Browne, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris will appreciate Walter's collaborations thorugh the years.

Come celebrate Record Store Day with Walter's special vinyl release of his sixth album, The Lost Album.

Walter will be joined by former bandmate and Govinda Gallery legend, Chris Murray, for some good fun and rock and roll.

Opening for Walter Egan will be special guests Patty Reese and Dave Chappell. Expect a mix of covers and originals: Patty ’s commanding vocals and guitar, paired with guitar wizard Dave Chappell will kick off what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

and her band have performed at major venues and festivals in the US and abroad. She has also supported international headliners including Beth Hart, Dr. John, Tab Benoit, Delbert McClinton, Greg Allman, Buddy Guy, Aretha Franklin, Little Feat, Ruthie Foster, Peter Wolf of J.Geil’s Band, Deanna Bogart, and more.

Dave Chappell, guitarist extraordinaire is well known for his chops in the DC area. He has won multiple Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIES) which include 'Musician of the Year,''Rock Instrumentalist of the Year', and 'Roots Rock Instrumentalist of the Year'. He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge, Johnny Johnson, Bobby Whitlock, Bill Kirchen and DC area's Danny Gatton.

FOOD TRUCK: Weather permitting Rocklands BBQ food truck will be at the curb 6 - 8 pm dishing up delicious bbq. Plenty of picnic tables outside for dining.
