🎣 Bait your hook and join the fun! The Wally Vess Youth Fishing Rodeo returns Saturday, June 6, from 7 to 10 a.m. at Brahan Spring Park Lagoon. The annual event is free and open to young anglers ages 6 to 12.Thanks to generous support from Buster’s Bait and Tackle and community partners, the lagoon will be stocked with more than 700 pounds of catfish, including 19 tagged fish worth $100 each and one specially tagged fish worth $1,000.
Fishing begins at 7 a.m. Participants can register online or on site. To claim a tagged fish, anglers must be registered and checked in. Fishing ends at 10 a.m., and awards follow at 10:30 a.m.
