Magnates and Merchants a tour of the fascinating district bounded by Georges Street to the west and Grafton Street to the west, including Exchequer St, Fade Street, Wicklow Street, Suffolk St Clarendon St, and South William St. A beautiful and familiar area, yet one that is still full of unexpected surprises. Join us as we learn about an underground diamond factory, a catastrophic 19th century fire, and some of Ireland’s best art deco, Tudor revival and art nouveau buildings.
