Join actor and tour guide Nick Richmond for a stroll around the quaint village of Rottingdean near Brighton , and find out about the life and times of one of the greatest authors of the 20th century , Rudyard Kipling .
Kipling lived here for 5 years , from 1897-1902 and wrote some of his finest work here , including Stalky and Co , and the Just So stories . We will explore his house and gardens , learn about the smuggling trade that went on there , and discover some of the famous artists who made Rottingdean their home .
