Walking Tour, Riverside Cemetery

Join GOHS on Tuesday, June 30, at 6:15pm for a Walking Tour of Riverside Cemetery, (behind the First Presbyterian Church, 296 Main Street).
Immediately following the NYS historical marker unveiling for Riverside Cemetery, GOHS Board Members Frank Antonucci, Bob Brzozowski, and Art Torrey will lead a historic tour in honor of “America 250,” exploring some of the sites of Oneonta’s Revolutionary War soldiers, early settlers, and famous families, like the Morenus, Swart, Walling, Ford, Fox, and Watkins families.
This tour will meet at the gates of the Cemetery directly following the unveiling of the Riverside Cemetery NYS Historic Marker (shortly after 6pm). Please be advised, terrain for this tour may be difficult.
This Walking Tour is by donation and reservations are not required.
The rain date for this tour is Wednesday, July 1, 6pm.
