About this Event

Sarah will meet you outside Sloane Square station and we'll walk to memorable places in the Borough of Chelsea & Kensington, learning about it's rich history - which is far more interesting, and deeper, than the high-end residential property and luxury boutiques it is primarily known for today.

The history, tensions and undercurrents of Chelsea reflect Britain's history and who we are as a nation today. The tour will include learning about how Royalty and aristocracy shapes Britain, the political power of plants, the American connections to the borough, the 'birth' of hot chocolate, fashion trends, and punk ideology. We'll also stop by places visited by some of the Borough's most famous residents - past and present.

All while walking through the beautiful neighbourhoods of this remarkable part of London.
