 Reviews of this walk

'Mrs Dalloway's Day' with Rob Smith - marvellous!

Rob is a charming and knowledgeable guide who brought an added dimension to our experience of Virginia Woolf's classic. We enjoyed every moment. Rob also knew so much about other locations we passed, which weren't directly related to the walk. Highly recommended.

Wonderful "Mrs. Dalloway's Day"!

I was so excited that Rob of Footprints of London had recreated the opening sequence of one of my favorite novels, Virginia Woolf's MRS. DALLOWAY. The tour was amazing--Rob had done extensive research, pairing the physical sights with wonderfully interspersed readings from the text. Though I've taught the novel for many years, I learned so much from our walk that I will be able to bring back to my students. Rob was a warm and solicitous guide who was able to answer all my questions and even emailed me later even more wonderful resources. I highly recommend this company!

Really worth doing

A fantastic walk through central London, exploring Mrs Dalloway and enjoying similar views that Virginia Woolf describes in her novel. It takes you back in time as well as reminding you of the joys of London. Rob is a great guide, with clear interest in the novel himself and as such brings the walk to life. I would highly recommend it.

A day with Mrs Dalloway

I loved watching the film "Mrs Dalloway" with Vanessa Redgrave based on the book written by Virginia Woolf. The evening spent with Rob and the group touring the area of the story was a very interesting and a definitely worthwhile experience. It was like taking a step (or a few steps) back in time. I am definitely looking forward to the next walk I have booked.
