Physical activity, such as walking, helps reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall well-being by releasing endorphins. It can also provide a sense of routine and purpose during a difficult time. Being part of a community offers emotional support, understanding, and companionship, which can alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness. Sharing experiences with others who are on a similar journey fosters connection and resilience, making the path forward a bit more manageable.
Take a step toward healing with us. Join Walking Through Grief, an intentional walking group meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on select Fridays in Douglas Walker Park (1195 84th Street Byron Center, MI 49315). To register, please call 616-356-4825.
