The TCHS will welcome our speaker TCHS board member Kay Emery Soetaert. Kay will talk about her pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in Spain in the spring of 2024. She walked over four hundred miles from Logrono to the shrine of St. James at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in about five weeks. The Camino de Santiago or Way of St. James has been a major pilgrimage route since the tenth century. A record number of nearly 500,000 pilgrims including over 38,000 Americans visited Santiago de Compostela in 2024.The meeting begins at 7 with a brief business meeting followed by the historical program.
Refreshments will be served after the program.
