On Friday, 16th October 1970, Clevedon Pier collapsed. Two of its eight spans had given way during a load test.
On the 55th anniversary of this catastrophe, historian Phil Curme will reveal exactly what happened on that fateful day - and why it happened.
An interactive walking tour, mainly at the spot where the Pier collapsed. If the weather is bad, it will be in the Porthole Room.
