Walking in the Footsteps of our Ancestors is a collaborative program between the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Center for Great Plains Studies. This program is the result of a $1.58 million grant from the Mellon Foundation.
Margaret Jacobs, director of the Center for the Great Plains Studies will be be joined by Christina Goodsen and Cory DeRoin of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe.
They will discuss their efforts to build a stronger connection between the Otoe-Missouria tribe, who are now in Oklahoma, and the people of Southeastern Nebraska.
This event is from 6:00pm- 7:00pm at the Beatrice Public Library. Admission is free.
