Walking Book Chat at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens
About this Event
Did you know that regular physical activity can support brain and heart health, improve your mental health and wellbeing, and may help reduce the risk of dementia?
Reading also benefits the brain by strengthening neural pathways, improving memory, and supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Enjoy a gentle guided walk through the beautiful gardens, learn more about the benefits of exercise and reading, and finish the session with a relaxed conversation about books.
This is an Adult Learners' Week event - aged 18 and over.
Bring your favourite read to share or just listen to some other recommendations.
Meeting point: Food Garden area of Royal Botanical Gardens at 10am. See map below.
