Take your place at center stage! In the afternoon session, Walker's Director of Theater and two advanced senior acting students will guide participants through a series of improvisational exercises, acting techniques rooted in the Meisner and Stanislavski methods, 10-minute playwriting, prop-making to inform character, and more! Learn to listen and respond instinctively to your scene partners, step out of your comfort zone during energizing theater games, make deliberate and interesting choices through monologues, and learn to problem-solve and take risks.
*Camp will culminate in a showcase, either in-person or filmed, depending on COVID restrictions at that time.
Cost: $500 for the week

Monday, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Ice-breakers, improvisational theater exercise, and acting techniques in Meisner and Stanislavski
Tuesday, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Acting techniques and monologues
Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Ten-minute playwriting
Thursday, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Showcase rehearsal
Friday, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.: Showcase rehearsal and performance
