Join me at The Pile, Berwyn’s beloved local bookstore, for a discussion about Jeff Speck’s influential book, "Walkable City".
As someone who cares deeply about infrastructure, especially pedestrian infrastructure, I’ve found this book incredibly eye-opening. It’s changed the way I see our city and made me notice things I never paid attention to before. This is a great opportunity to explore how the ideas in Walkable City might apply here in Berwyn and to discuss the changes we’d love to see.
Whether you’ve read the book or not, you’re welcome to join. If you’ve read it, come share your thoughts. If you haven’t, come listen, talk about your own experiences, and give your insights into how we can make Berwyn a better place for walking, biking, and getting around. I’ll also share some of my own ideas for improving infrastructure in our city.
