About this Event

The next Refugee Tales walk will be held in Canterbury!

Meeting point

We will meet at Canterbury West Railway Station at 10:30 am to leave at 11am.

Friends tickets:

For those who have signed up to be Friends of GDWG, please email Lara ([email protected]) and she will give you a code and release your ticket for you.

Our Route: 7 miles (approximately)

We will walk out of Canterbury via Kent University and take the Crab and Winkle Way. We will stop for lunch by the ancient St Cosmos and St Damien Church (Blean Church) and then return via Harbledown village. There are some lovely views of Canterbury Cathedral, and of the pretty surrounding countryside.

We will finish the walk back at Canterbury West at around 4pm.

No dogs

We ask that you do not bring dogs (other than guide dogs), as we wish to make the walk accessible for all.

We're looking forward to walking with you!
