Walk with the Stars

Welcome to the 1st Annual Walk with the Stars event sponsored by OES Sisters of Solidarity #023! Join us on Sat May 18 2024 at 9:00 AM, registration begins at 7:30a at Reedy Creek Parks and Recreation for a fun-filled day of walking and fun. This event is perfect for friends and families to bond, get some exercise as we help to bring attentions to the importance of Mental Health in our community.

There will be vendors and therapist to talk about self-care and provide you with options of getting help. Walt your own pace on the trail through the park and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

More than 1 in 5 US adults live with a mental illness. Over 1 in 5 youth (ages 13-18) either currently or at some point during their life, have had a seriously debilitating mental illness. About 1 in 25 U.S. adults lives with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression.

Do you know someone that suffers or has suffered with Mental Illness? Walk in their honor or memory by writing their name on a sheet of paper that will be provided.

There will be water provided for attendees along the walking trail.

An free gift to thank you will be provided to registrants. Chances to win prizes and more.
