Join us on our public Walk with Shelter Dogs meet!The first event was such a success we created a sign up to help us better know how many dogs to get harnessed up and ready to walk with you!

We are challenging our community to take a SHELTER dog on a
walk! It is a really rewarding way to get active and help our adoption dogs get noticed and some much needed human interaction.
We will start at 10 am and walk a portion of the South Grand Trail (about 2 miles). An employee and volunteers will be walking the trail along with you to assist. Once you arrive (starting at 9:45), we will get you paired with a dog, and we will walk the trail as a team! The walk will take roughly an hour.
Meet here at the shelter, 2811 SE 29th St. *Please meet up in the grass area away from the front door.
Everyone is welcome! Even if you don't want to walk a dog but want to join in -- come on! Dress in comfy walking clothes and shoes.
