Join children and adults around the world to celebrate the benefits of walking and bicycling. Please come join us for Walk to School Day on October 6, 2021. Walk to School Day is an annual event that promotes physical activity, reduces traffic congestion and speed near schools, teaches safe pedestrian and bicycling skills to children, and promotes time sharing with parents and children.
We will meet at Parkway East Shopping Center, located at 1145 John Sims Pkwy, at the corner of John Sims Pkwy and Wise Ave, at 7:45am. We will begin walking south on Wise Ave at 7:55am. We will walk to 27th Street, where we will continue south to the Plew Elementary Walker Gate. Please come join our children for a short Walk to School!!
