The Spring migrants are arriving at the Neilson Spearhead Center! Join us for a stroll through the woods as we glimpse warblers, flycatchers, and other birds, look for early wildflowers, and spy on the Bald Eagle nest. Led by naturalist George-Ann Maxson.
Beginning birders are welcome! We encourage you to bring binoculars if you have them, and some will be available to borrow, if you do not. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather, and with tick prevention in mind (we recommend sturdy, closed toed shoes, high socks and long, light pants).
This event is held at the Neilson Spearhead Center nature preserve, approximately 15 minutes southwest of Bemidji.
