This walk is focused on the 4+ acres at the west end of the Del Norte Open Space (yellow hash marked area). The area is nestled between Rio Grande Blvd to the west, Paseo del Norte to the south and the Albuquerque Main Canal to the east.We'll have an opportunity to learn more about this space and what's possible there going forward.
There are many ways to get there. Park on Ortega at the Albuquerque Main Canal crossing or at the Open Space "Shining River" Parking Area on Rio Grande. If you walk or ride your bike, meet at one of those two spots or directly at the acreage.
Bring water and wear sturdy shoes
