'Walk In Their Shoes' FCFCOA Tour

Join us for a guided tour of the FCFCOA from the perspective of a client accessing the Courts, aiming to improve trauma-informed practice.

Practitioners, support workers and others who work with those navigating family law are invited to join us to strengthen your trauma-informed practice by gaining a deeper understanding of the client experience at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) Canberra Registry.

Participants will explore key aspects of the Court, including safety procedures, touring the Court Children's Service interview space, a conversation with the Duty Lawyer (FASS) team, the Court Registry, and all other aspects relevant to the experience of clients accessing the Court.

The tour will be followed by brief refreshments with an opportunity to provide feedback and partake in a Q&A.
