We’re Hiring! 🚨 Join us Monday, October 6th (1-3:30 P.M.) for an On-Site Open Interview Day for Central Station. Bring your resume & interview on the spot!Position: Central Station Operator (Full-time, 2nd Shift)
Schedule: Friday–Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Responsibilities include:
-Responding to inbound security alarm messages and dispatching regional 911 authorities as required
-Interacting with customers and emergency services during stressful situations
-Using computers and central station dispatch software to process alarms
-Typing a minimum of 30–35 WPM while multi-tasking across phone and computer systems
-Remaining calm and professional while communicating critical information clearly
-Assisting with service requests, sales lead calls, and other assigned duties
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Fluent with multiple computer programs and capable of learning new software
-Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
-Must be able to work weekends and holidays
-Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, reading from a computer screen and using phone/computer systems
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
-Must be able to pass a state background check and licensing requirements
