Walk In - Candle Making Workshop

Enjoy the LiveYoung Candle Co. candle-making experience on your schedule with our walk-in candle-making workshop!
During this hands-on experience, we’ll guide you through the candle-making process from start to finish. You’ll choose a vessel from our available selection, select one fragrance for your candle, prepare your vessel, and pour your own custom soy candle.
The experience typically takes approximately one to two hours, depending on the size of your group, followed by approximately 20 minutes for your candle to begin setting.
WALK-IN WORKSHOP HOURS
You may arrive to begin your walk-in workshop during the following times:
- Tuesday through Thursday: 12:00–4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 12:00–6:00 p.m.
Please do not arrive before or after the listed walk-in hours. If you arrive outside these hours, you will need to return on another available walk-in day.
Walk-in workshop tickets cannot be used for our scheduled Saturday workshops, private workshops, or special events.
No preregistration is required for walk-in candle-making. If you purchase a walk-in ticket through Eventbrite, it may be used on any day that walk-in candle-making is available. Please check our current schedule or contact the store before visiting if you have questions about availability.
IMPORTANT TICKET POLICY
All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
Eventbrite may display generic or automated language indicating that tickets are refundable. However, the LiveYoung Candle Co. policy stated above applies to all workshop ticket purchases.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
- Workshop ticket: $38 per participant
- Vessel cost: Purchased separately at the workshop
- Vessel prices: Approximately $6–$40, depending on the size and design selected
- Experience length: Approximately one to two hours
- Candle setting time: Approximately 20 additional minutes
- Fragrance selection: Each guest will choose one fragrance for their candle. Fragrance blending is not included.
- Age requirement: Guests must be at least 10 years old. Guests under 18 must attend with a ticketed adult.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages, including wine, beer, and seltzers. A beverage cooler and buffet area are available for your convenience.
Please bring everything needed to serve and enjoy your food and drinks, including cups, plates, utensils, napkins, serving pieces, and a bottle opener. LiveYoung Candle Co. does not provide these items.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
- Every guest who plans to remain for the workshop must have a ticket, including adults accompanying or assisting a child.
- A ticket is required because everyone remaining in the workshop area is considered part of the experience and counts toward our available seating.
- Walk-in tickets are valid only during the designated weekday walk-in hours.
- Walk-in tickets cannot be used to attend a scheduled Saturday workshop.
- Vessels and fragrances will be selected after you have checked in and received instructions from our team.
TAKING YOUR CANDLE HOME
Candles require approximately 20 minutes after the instructional portion of the workshop to set enough for transportation. Guests must wait until their candles are ready before taking them home.
While you wait, you are welcome to browse our retail store, create additional products, and enjoy the space. If you are visiting from out of town, we can ship your finished candle for a $15 shipping fee.
WORKSHOP PURPOSE AND RECORDING POLICY
Our workshops are recreational, hands-on DIY experiences designed for guests to relax, have fun, and create something of their own. They are not professional training courses and do not teach candle manufacturing or how to start or operate a candle-making business.
We do not provide proprietary formulas, measurements, supplier or sourcing information, production guidance, or business instruction during our workshops.
Personal photos, short videos, and notes for memories or social media are welcome. Recording or documenting the instructional process for reproduction, training, manufacturing, or commercial use is not permitted.
