This walk is for anyone who has lost someone — to overdose, mental health struggles, illnesses, violence, or any other cause. Together, we honour our loved ones, share our stories, and support one another. No one walks alone.Event Highlights:
• Walk at your own pace, join at any point
• Fun community activities at Victoria Park (closing celebration)
• Candle-lighting ceremony
• Balloon release
• Music, speakers, and space for remembrance
• Resource tables for grief, mental health, and community support
What to Bring:
• Comfortable shoes & weather-ready clothing
• Candle, balloon, or photo of your loved one (optional)
• Donations welcome: winter jackets, mitts, winter hats, socks, hygiene products
• Cash donations accepted – supporting programs that help individuals facing mental health challenges or considered at risk
