Make-A-Wish Illinois will kick off a 40th Birthday Celebration at annual Walk for Wishes events in Chicagoland and invites the community to enjoy the family-friendly fun. On Sunday October 19 2025 participants can join in person in Elk Grove Village (Busse Woods) Chicago (Lincoln Park) or join virtually.
For children battling the pain and uncertainty that comes with a critical illness a wish experience can be just what they need to find the strength to cope. Walk For Wishes is powered by wish families volunteers companies donors and friends. Registration is FREE for all in-person and virtual Walk for Wishes options.
