WALK FOR PEACE LOUISVILLE: Saturday, June 27, 9-11am, Gathering outside PCUSA, 100 Witherspoon St, 40202
Join this city-wide event to use our words, our feet, and our hope to declare that Love Transforms! This event features the creation of a Flower Mandala for Peace by Jenny Bell outside PCUSA, speakers from the community, a 2.5 mile walk in the downtown area, and a closing ritual. Join us as a people who envision peace and flourishing for everyone in our community and world. Walk for Peace Louisville is sponsored by DGCEC and Nonviolent Louisville.
Our growing list of Peace Partners includes Presbyterian Church USA, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, St. William Church, Locust Grove, The Muhammad Ali Center, Center for Interfaith Relations, ListenLearnAct, ChooseWell Communities, and Buddha Blessed Temple.
