Walk For Freedom 2026

With each step, we stand for freedom and raise awareness to end sex trafficking in Nebraska!

Join I've Got A Name for the annual Walk for Freedom on Saturday, April 11th.

We'll walk from the Nebraska Union Broyhill Fountain to the steps of Nebraska State Capitol Building, where you'll hear from special guest speakers committed to making a change. (Speakers will be announced soon—stay tuned!)

Check-in starts at 9:30 AM and the walk kicks off promptly at 10:00 AM.

REGISTRATION

• Registration is $25, and includes a Walk For Freedom T-Shirt and Valentino's Pizza.
• For students, registration is $15.
• Kids 12 and under walk for free (shirt sizes based on availability)

Register as an individual or gather your friends, family, or coworkers to create a team. However you show up, your presence matters!

**FOR TEAM REGISTRATION**

• Each team member must register individually or one person may register multiple participants (up to 20 people at a time).
• AFTER the payment page, the order form will be displayed and you will see the option to type in your Team Name. We ask that all team members are aware of the Team Name so they know what to type in at this step.
• Teams will be recognized at the walk and invited to take a group photo with our “No Girl For Sale” banner, which may be featured on our social media.

This walk is more than an event. It’s a visible commitment to justice, a show of solidarity with survivors, and a reminder that when communities come together, real change is possible. We hope you'll join us and invite others to walk alongside you!

NOTE: Details about early T-shirt pick-up (date, time, and location) will be emailed to registered participants closer to event date.
