Walk Awhile 2025
Come join us for a fun-filled evening of sashing from the Capital Building to Segra Stadium in our annual event Walk Awhile 2025! Walk Awhile is a family-friendly walk-in which men are asked to wear high-heeled shoes to show their support for victims throughout the community. Onsite registration begins in front of The Capital Encore Academy Building downtown Fayetteville at 6:00pm and the walk starts at 7:00pm on Friday, March 28, 2025 and will go to the steps of Segra Stadium. Registration is only $30 for walkers. Sign up early if you need to wear a pair of our heels (hurry, they go fast). It is a great way to encourage team building and support a great cause at the same time! Why is this event necessary? The number of violent assaults in our community are continually growing, and volunteer and financial resources are strained to combat the problem.
