Bethy and I have been participating in this event for more years that I can possibly remember (we were in high school when we started). This has become a cherished and beloved tradition, and while I cannot begin to consider what it will be like without her, I know that she would want us to keep going.
So let's do it. Let's Walk at a Decent Pace to Feed the Hungry. If you're one of those... runners... we will accept you as well, but we aren't going to catch up with you... we walkin
There are two options for registration: you can register as a individual (the price is slightly cheaper and you just show up at race time) or you can register for the team. The team name is "Team Bloody Bethy Forever." This is a more expensive registration but you get a higher quality shirt and you get a special pre-race meeting spot where I believer there are some foods and drinks and some other perks. These are listed on the website.
You can register EITHER WAY and still be a part of our hoard. We will meet by the giant Turkey at 8:45am and get ready to do the start of the race shuffle together. Hopefully we can get a group photo too...
RSVPing to this event is not necessary, but it is helpful to get an idea of how big of a group we are looking for.
AND FINALLY we might have a special shirt available for you to order to wear to the event. Please still register with RTFTH and help the cause, but I am hoping we will have a sweet shirt for us to wear together. More on that soon!
