Join the City of Rio Rancho, Ciudad Soil & Water Conservation District and the ABQ Backyard Refuge Program and learn about "Our Changing Bosque." This event will feature expert speakers who will discuss threats to the Bosque ecosystem, local conservation practices, and actions we can take to support the Bosque and its surrounding habitat. The class will occur in the outdoor classroom with additional education provided while walking the Willow Creek and North Loop trails in the Willow Creek area of the Rio Rancho Bosque.* Please bring your own water, wear clothing appropriate for that day's weather (heat, sun, or cold).
* Restroom facilities will NOT be provided.
* Access to the Outdoor Classroom and the trails is over stabilized crusher fine material.
* Spaces are limited. Those interested can register by signing up in person at Rio Rancho's three Libraries or two Senior Centers, and through the City's ActiveNet system online at https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/rioranchoparksandrec/activity/search/detail/11168?onlineSiteId=0&from_original_cui=true
Registration deadline is Monday, September 23rd.
A waiting list will be kept and confirmed participants will receive an email message by or before Wednesday, September 25th.
