Join Hill Country Conservancy for a leisurely and informative hike on the Violet Crown Trail! Discover behind-the-scenes stories and insights that make the Violet Crown Trail truly special during an engaging and informative Walk & Talk at the 290 Trailhead.
Led by HCC committee member and long-time supporter Scott Fehrenkamp, this hike is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn about the trail’s history and development, and hear more about Hill Country Conservancy’s conservation efforts.
This event is free but please register so we know to expect you.
-This section of the Violet Crown Trail is a natural surface with an uneven, rocky surface and some sharp curves.
-Please wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Please bring a water bottle/
-This is a family-friendly event; however, please note that this section of trail is not stroller-friendly.
-Dogs are welcome on this section of the trail but must remain on a leash.
-Anticipated time on the trail is 1-1.5 hours. We anticipate a slower pace with lots of stops.
