Walk & Roll to the Bookstore

Join A Seat at the Table Books and our nonprofit partner, ASATTCI, to honor Bike Month, Mental Health Awareness Month, and Small Business Month with an amazing day! Walk or roll to the store at any time or join one of our walks listed below. Enjoy free activites and the joy of community.

1. At 11:30, Emyly C from Mil Mujeres will read books and lead a craft.
2. At 12:30 and 3:00 (subject to change until 4/30), student drag performers will share their performance art!
3. From 10-4, local nonprofits will be offering free interactive activities. We have two spots remaining, so if you're an interested nonprofit, email [email protected] with information about your mission and what fun, engaging activity you could offer.

1. Ca Phe Haru: Meet at 9 and walk at 9:30 from this amazing local cafe located one mile south of us at Laguna Springs and Elk Grove Blvd.
2. Audiobook walk: Meet at 10 and walk at 10:30 from the store with your Libro.FM audiobook ready to go! We'll do a 45-minute loop.
3. Colton Park (family-focused): Meet at 11 and walk at 11:10 from this park half a mile south of us along Laguna Springs. Families are welcome at all the walks, but this one is especially geared toward familes who want to meet other parents and kids!
4. Zimbelman Park: Meet at 2:30 and walk at 2:45 from this park on the Big Horn curve, three quarters of a mile north of us.
