Walk-A-Thon Fundraising Begins!

🏃♀️Celebrating the 13th ANNUAL WALK-A-THON!🏃♂️
Join us for our 13th Annual Walk-A-Thon! This is our one big fundraiser every year and it is always a great success! This year we hope to raise $20,000 to help supply our kids/school with needed technology, activities, and outdoor equipment. We know we can do it...with YOUR help!
Starting September 18th, our students will be *safely* raising money by asking family, friends, parents’ coworkers, etc. if they would like to make a contribution. Donors can pay with cash, check or even online! Donations are a flat rate, not per lap.
🤑Fundraising is Sept. 18 - Oct. 2💰
Envelopes are due at 8am on the day of the Walk-A-Thon (Oct. 2nd)
On the day of the event our students will walk/run/roll/jog/skip/mosey laps around the school. It is not a competition and your donation is not dependent on the number of laps your child completes...we want everyone to have fun and get moving! We will have guests like the Coronado cheerleaders, local military soldiers, and more on hand to cheer our Hornets on!
We ask that EVERY student wears their “class color” as it makes it easier to track them and for a school-wide picture afterwards. Class Colors for the Walk-A-Thon are as follows: Preschool - ☁️White, Kindergarten-💜Purple, 1st- 💙Blue, 2nd- 💚Green, 3rd- 🔴Red, 4th- 💛Yellow, 5th- 🧡Orange. Please let us know if you need help acquiring a shirt...we can help!
We also will have fun incentives to help motivate our students to raise money: prizes, a special staff-served pizza party and a super-fun assembly for the whole school.
