NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORTJoin JFS at Walk a Mile in My Shoe on Sunday, September 28, 2025 for an afternoon of FUN, FOOD, AND PURPOSE. There will be activities for the whole family, delicious food to enjoy, and a walk around the Burns Park area in support of the refugees we serve in the community.
By walking together at Walk a Mile in My Shoes, we send a powerful message: we see you, we welcome you, and we will not stop providing support to those who need us. Your participation helps JFS continue to provide essential resources— housing, employment support, and community connections—so that every newcomer, no matter when they arrived, has the opportunity to thrive.
JFS' critical initiative provides:
-Arrival assistance and placement
-Intensive case management
-Youth and women's empowerment services
-Health and behavioral health services
-Nutrition support through our Nourish Nutrition Services
-Entrepreneurial business development and training through our --Micro Enterprise Development programs
-SO MUCH MORE!
We are still actively serving resettlement clients, as assistance does not stop after 90 days, often extending to years of service.
